How to unlock the Alley Oop! achievement

    If you're like me and you didn't have a controller or friends to play with there is an alternative in Single player.

    From the main menu go Local play--Single player--level 1-1 (this will be the only one available)

    Make sure you win the first game (1-1). After you've won the first game choose level 2-1. In level 2-1 you'll be playing a 1v2. Simply let the AI's run around with the ball and they should naturally get it in.

    If you're having trouble try getting the ball and throwing it down underneath your own goal, the AI's should chase it down and quickly past it to one another in order to score a quick goal. When they pass it to one another you will see a doted line and it'll say on your screen "Alley Oop!".

    Edit: Please understand you might not achieve this in one game! It took me 2 game attempts in order for it to unlock.

    From Wikipedia: "An alley-oop in basketball is an offensive play in which one player throws the ball near the basket to a teammate who jumps, catches the ball in mid air and immediately dunks it."

    This needs to be done in Single player with two controllers. It's also doable in multiplayer but you need at least 3 players so you can get 2 players to join the same team.

    Go near the goal of your opponent and hop on to the small platform.
    Now use your second controller to get the ball and hop on the bigger platform to the right of where your other player is.
    Then push down cn_B to start the pass BUT before you release it, press cn_A on your main player to jump and when your player is in the air, release cn_B on the other controller to complete the pass.

    Now you need to kick the ball to the goal with cn_RT or cn_LT while still being in the air to complete your Alley Oop.

    CursedIf you have two controllers, the game recognizes the alley oop as the pass not the score. You can jump into the goal and catch the ball mid-jump for the achievement rather than trying to kick it in.

    The description of this achievement is a bit misleading, you do not need to perform an Alley Oop yourself, meaning that this can be achieved while playing through the "story" mode. Just play against a team with atleast 2 opposing players and if you let them have the ball, eventually they should complete an alley oop between each other and the achievement should pop.

    Note: this could take several games to get, it is much easier to get if you have a friend to play with, but if you do not, or you do not want to wait for someone, you can get this while playing solo easily enough.
