One aspect briefly highlighted in the gameplay was the dynamic seasons and weather. According to Ubisoft, this will do more than make for a nice change of pace as you charge around feudal Japan. For instance, moving around at night will help hide Naoe; “doubly so when the rain picks up and muffles her sounds. Because the mission takes place in the spring, she is able to hide in bushes and sneak underwater through a pond — but in the winter, the pond would be frozen, the bushes wouldn't have the leaves to hide her, and the snow would reveal her footsteps.”There's a lot to look forward to with the next Assassin's Creed game, and you can find out more in our round-up of everything we know about Assassin's Creed Shadows.
