If you're looking for a nostalgia hit, we've picked up the 13 Braid Anniversary Edition achievements ahead of its launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on May 15. The list is almost identical to the original Braid achievements, and if you fancy seeing what lies ahead, here are the new Braid Anniversary Edition achievements.

The original Braid launched on Xbox 360 via Xbox Arcade in 2008 and quickly became an instant classic due to its innovative puzzles, beautiful art style, and emotional depth. Developer Thekla Inc. is hoping to revive Braid's glory days by releasing the Anniversary Edition, which gives the visuals a facelift and adds new soundtrack mixes, animations, and more. It also packs in some "new experiences," like developer commentaries and 40 new levels.

Looking at the achievement list, it's identical to the original Braid achievements other than one additional achievement. Five achievements are linked to traversing levels two to six, while another five require you to solve the puzzles in each of those worlds. The Closure achievement for completing the game and the tricky Speed Run achievement for whizzing through Braid and beating the challenge time both make a return as well. The only difference between the lists is Anniversary's new Solved World 7 achievement, which requires you to "Complete the puzzle for the Commentary World." Of course, while the original game was worth a total of 200 Gamerscore as it was an Xbox Arcade title, the Anniversary Edition is worth a tasty 1,000G.
