Biography

I'm a child of the eighties who grew up with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill and Ted, Thundercats, Knightmare and my amazing Commodore 64!

I've owned most computers and consoles over the years and still have many of them today. I cut my teeth programming the Spectrum, C64 and Electron. Dizzy is my all time favourite computer game character, closely followed by George Stobbart and Abe the Mudoken.

I'm massively into independent games from small studios that really let their imagination and talent shine, without the pressures of big publishers wanting another boring so-called AAA title. This includes supporting mid-budget developers who are often vastly underrated - Piranha Bytes (Gothic, Risen, Elex) and Bugbear (Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Wreckfest) for example. My latest love along those lines is Greedfall, from Spiders. Great game!
