GTA+ has grown considerably since its inception in 2022 as a premium service for players collecting the Grand Theft Auto V achievements — one of the best open-world games on Xbox — and now also includes an assortment of the developer's best Xbox games. Until now, the subscription has been available for $5.99 / £4.99 / €5.99 a month, but Rockstar has increased the GTA+ price by up to 40%.

Players subscribed to GTA+ in the US and Europe will now pay 33% more for a monthly subscription, which has increased from $5.99 / €5.99 to $7.99 / €7.99. In the UK however, the price has hiked by around 40%, from £4.99 to £6.99. It's also worth noting that Rockstar doesn't offer any annual or multi-month packages for discounts, so you can only subscribe via a month-to-month subscription.

Alongside a host of in-game benefits, vehicles, cash, discounts, and more for GTA Online, the service also includes a "rotating assortment" of games for subscribers to play. Right now, the catalog includes Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — Definitive Edition, Red Dead Redemption and its Undead Nightmare expansion, GTA: Chinatown Wars, and GTA: Liberty City Stories. Later this year, Rockstar will also be adding Bully: Scholarship Edition and L.A. Noire to the library, although Rockstar hasn't said if any games will be cycled out.

EA recently announced that it's changing the price of its own subscription service as well, increasing the price of EA Play and EA Play Pro for all subscribers next month.
