It's that time of the year again for a wave of video game announcements during the Summer Game Fest 2024 schedule, which kicked off yesterday with Geoff Keighley's main event. As Xbox fans, we're looking forward to seeing what Microsoft has in store during the Xbox Games Showcase and Call of Duty Direct tomorrow, which is rumored to include a tease for an Xbox handheld console.

Would you be interested in an Xbox handheld console?

Portable hardware like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion are proving to be popular choices for players looking to play the best Xbox Game Pass games when traveling, it's long been speculated that Microsoft is working on its own handheld device.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has shared his love for handheld consoles, explaining some of the changes he'd 'hypothetically' make to the current Xbox experience on those devices. With that in mind, recent rumors have suggested that Microsoft is preparing to "tease" its own handheld console during tomorrow's show, reportedly dubbed the Xbox Portable.

If it's a native system and not a pointless cloud-based streaming device to lug around alongside your already-capable mobile, I'll be interested. It's not just about me, though, so for this week's poll, we want to know: Would you be interested in an Xbox handheld? Let us know by voting in our poll and leaving a comment below. Have an awesome weekend, everyone!
