I love money - Devs probably.

30 fps, bad controls, bad hitboxes, bad A.I., bad gameplay.

More than 10% of my playthrough was trying to interact with tiny hitboxes. Have to get the cursor perfectly on the object in other to interact which isn't the easiest in such a game.

A.I. most of the time just blocks the way to advance so you either have to reload constantly or wait 5+ minutes for them to move so you can do the objectives.

Bakery is the only fun part of the game and even that is ruined by her best hearing in the world award, unless it's shattering her window, then she for some reason can't hear it.

I recommend the glitch walk through posted here if you care about achievements, no other reason to play this game.

$40 game and it's only an hour long. Don't worry though a crash at end game will delete your save and make that 2 hours.

Convicted GreedTried the glitch run and it's deleted my save 3 times now. Not even worth it.

this review is broken into achievements (where the game is reviewed with only achievement hunting in mind) followed by both the good and the bad (where the game is reviewed in terms of enjoyment)

    achievements
achievement-wise this game is a glitchy mess but in theory could be a (1-2h) completion (or even less if you run into no issues.. but good luck with that)

multiple walkthroughs and video guides are available except most are outdated and even if you find an up-to-date one you may experience a bugged achievement that makes you start your run over

    the good
even if you did have something nice to say about this game at the beginning.. after playing through it you will no longer want to say those good things
thankful that this game gives me a lower bound to compare other games to for my other reviews

    the bad
bugs (so bad that i recommend the game to no one)
frustrating (ai feels random at best.. also trying to interact with anything feels like a chore)

    Hello Neighbor 2 Review

Let me start off with saying this is not like the original Hello Neighbor or Hello Neighbor Hide & Seek. This is just what they call Hello Guest, but with some random characters and a bad game environment.

    Pros:

1,000 Gamerscore in around an hour or two? Let me say this game is built for achievement hunters or speedrunners. Someone completed this game in 2 mins so I think that tells us something.

    Cons:

If you are not a achievement hunter, please don't play such a bad game like this. The world collisions are so glitchy that if you sprint and then keep crouching near a wall you can no clip through it. If you are planning on buying this...DON'T! It's not entertaining and sometimes doesn't even save or resets all your progress. It's on game pass for the time being, so TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.

This game is a gem. The developers have created a whole universe to satisfy us. It is revolutionary for its time since it is in 16K 240fps.

The soundtrack is grandiose, worthy of the greatest. Berlioz and Chopin are rolling over in their graves.

The gameplay is to die for. Not even Mario Galaxy comes close to it.

$10 for 16 minutes, a long-term investment because the memories will be unforgettable.

Spend time with his wife and children, why? Aabs animals will fill us with happiness with its aura that pierces the screen.
I quit my job to play it.

    Synopsis:

-Hello Neighbor 2 is a first-person stealth and puzzle game.
-You play as a journalist and progress the story by entering forbidden areas of your neighbors' homes, to discover their secrets.
-You can’t die, but if you’re discovered in an area you shouldn’t be, the neighbors will throw you out.
-I haven’t played the first Hello Neighbor yet, but this one is much shorter to 100%. (5h vs 18h)

    Pros:

-The Puzzles are clever, but not overly difficult.
-This is something simple, but when you open your inventory, you pull out a briefcase and look inside. I thought that was a cool touch. Unlike some inventory menus, it seemed more real.

    Cons:

-Sometimes it was hard to grab things. Even when you get the reticle aimed just right, it still glitches out sometimes.
-This can be a problem, especially when a neighbor is chasing you.

    Analysis:

    -Storyline is lacking
    -Gameplay is good
    -Mechanics are temperamental
    -Graphics aren't great
-It isn’t difficult, especially with a guide

    Is it worth it?

-Is the game worth the price? No.
-Is the game on game pass? Yes.
-Is the grind worth the gamerscore? Yes.
    -Easy completion? Somewhat.
-Would I play this game if it had no achievements? Maybe.
