The second game from the brothers of SFB Games, Crow Country is a modern revival of PS1 survival horror classics like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

It takes a tried and true formulae (and graphical aesthetic) and brings it into the present day. The grainy television static filter and aggressive polygons will evoke an overwhelming wave of nostalgia in all who have fond memories of that era of games. The game itself has an engaging story, tongue in cheek sense of humour and adequate combat. Additional to all of this is some amazing audio design and a brilliant accompanying soundtrack.

With only 15 achievements; the game can be perfected in a single run and will only take about 6 hours. There is also decent amount of replay-ability as there are additional collectibles unlockable for a second playthrough.

At £16.74 it offers decent value for money but might be worth waiting for a sale, for those not convinced.

Overall a phenomenal homage to survival horror classics of old.
