To be safe, I'm booting up every single one of my non-bc 360 games and downloading if I get prompted for packs.
Good idea. I'll do to the same on Friday, and see if I can spot anything.

    Hey Everyone

I haven't had chance to reply to all of your comments. But just to say that I will update the list soon, as some Friends outside of TA, have also given me some listings that I have missed out, to help you all out. I'll also see if I can make the Listings easier to read or figure out what's what.

I will try and update it when I have a moment and not Working, looking after my Family & Relations.

Appreciate everyone's comments & feedback. I'm glad this is somewhat helping you all out. Or at least, giving you a brainwave to get to work with your XBox 360 before July 2024.

    Thanks again.

I think you can remove the /en-GB part of the URLs so they automatically convert to the person's region when they click them. Would help those of us not in GB.

    FORUM UPDATED

I've Updated this Forum & Listing. I'm going to keep this somewhat Brief. Because my Laptop's Screen is Flickering Badly. And my Eyes are Watering from the effect of it (I need a New Laptop & A Gaming PC truthfully roll)

Update 1: I've removed /en-GB part of the URLs. This should hopefully load the page based in the region you are in. Any problems, let us know and I'll see if I can fix it. Credit goes to Salsbar for recommendation compute

Update 2: I've added one game - Dragon Age: Inquisition (Xbox 360) Achievements to the List. I've also added a bit more information towards Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Xbox 360) Achievements. Credit goes to Domanator316 for discovery clap

Update 3: Removed Games Of Thrones Link from the Red Dead Redemption area. Credit goes to LuckyKant for that discovery clap

Update 4: For each URL. I've added Text underneath it. So that instead of making you all click the Link to the page, to figure out what the Content is, that you may need to Download. You can now use the Text underneath the URL to decide, whether you want the Content or not. Without going onto the Website itself. shock

    As an example...

    Borderlands 2 (Xbox 360) Achievements

    https://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/Compatibility-Pack/729a...

Compatibility Pack - This piece of wording is now added for every URL tied to the Listing.

I've not added it for the Season Passes or the Online Passes/VIP Passes etc. They only have one URL, and I'm sure you all have enough knowledge to know, what the URL Link will take you to. warning

    Final Pointers

I can see a lot of you asking me Questions about this Forum Page and I've not answered them. I'm not ignoring you. I will answer them. I just got to figure out, how to answer the Questions above. Which I'll do so soon enough. Because my Laptop's Screen's Flickering. I'm going to have to switch off the Laptop to let it Cool Down. Before I can come back and Answer your Questions.

    Side Note...

LEGO Dimensions (Xbox 360) Achievements - Credit to Delta381. Yep, I had a funny feeling this one possibly needed to be added to this List. And a problem we've got is the XBox 360 Marketplace Page - https://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/LEGO-Dimensions/66acd00..., doesn't list any of the Download Content needed for this game.

The Good News is we do have the Game & Download Content at Home. So at some stage, I will load the game up and see if I can figure out, where I can get this Content, and if there is any, I'll add it to this Listing for everyone to read. The games to belong to my Brother though. And they are buried somewhere in the household. So it's probably going to take me awhile to find them.

I'll be in touch soon. Hope all this helps and thanks again. wave

So I’m back again, here to answer F.A.Q’s with what’s been posted so far. I think the best thing to do is to create a Sub-Title with the Question itself. Rather than Quoting each of you and answering the Question individually...

Will These Games Be Available In My Download History On My XBox 360 Account After July 2024?

Yes, according to the announcement of the XBox 360 Marketplace being De-Listed. Anything that you have purchased in the past, before the De-Listing Date, will be stored in your Download History. So even if you apply for the Item you wish to Download, but do not Download it. It will be stored in your Download History. Meaning that you can download it at another time in the future.

Will Redeemable Codes Still Be Available For Me To Use After July 2024?

If the Code supports use for XBox One/XBox Series X & XBox 360 Consoles, such as 2-Day Trials, 2 Week Trial etc. I would say you would still be OK to use them after July 2024.

If it’s a Code that’s solely based for the XBox 360. Then it will likely only be Redeemable until the end of July 2024.
I'm not 100% sure, but I would even say this includes XBox Live Trial Cards that are solely aimed for XBox 360 only. As an example, I’ve got a 7-Day Trial Card for Disney Infinity 1.0 and a 2 Week Trial Card for Tomb Raider 2013. These Games are XBox 360 Only, and those Codes might not be available for me to use after July 2024.

I would strongly suggest you all check your Redeemable Codes if you got any, especially if they are for XBox 360. And if you have any that need to be used for Games you wish to play in the future. Use them sooner rather than later. If your not going to use them at all, maybe give them to people you know that need them, or post them on TA for someone else to use on the Site overall.

Why Have You Listed Backward Compatible Content When It’s Just Going To Be Available in The Future?

Well, potentially, I could have not bothered, have it removed on this Listing and just leave it all for you to figure out. The issue here is that obviously we “believe” Microsoft will keep the Backward Compatible XBox 360 & XBox Original Games available for us on the XBox One, XBox Series X/S and XBox.com future.

However, at the moment, there is no guarantee that the Downloadable Content for these Backward Compatible games will be available for us in the future.

There’s some XBox 360 Games that are Backward Compatible on the XBox One/XBox Series X that are available to us, but the Download Content that contains Achievements for the respective games cannot be purchased or obtained.
The same can be said the other way round in which for some games, you can use your XBox One, XBox One X/S, to get Downloadable Content for your XBox 360 Games. Then you have to go into your Download History, and download them from there.

The other area that someone mentioned that I’m thinking about, is that some Users on the Site (probably not many now), still play on their XBox 360 Consoles, or they have Profiles/Accounts that play XBox 360 Games only, but do not have access to XBox One’s/XBox Series X/S’s to download anything (well XBox.com is an option). So I guess the Listings of these games is there for them as well.

I might be wrong. But even though the Games use the XBox One/XBox Series X/S Stores. For some of the Backward Compatible games. They require you to load up the game still, and get the content through the Store, and in this case, an Emulated XBox 360 Marketplace Store feature will be used to get the Content you need, downloaded to your account. If this was to be removed after July 2024, that might give us a problem.

For me, truthfully, I have a whack load of Dummy Accounts, that I use on my XBox 360 Consoles to get Online Achievements easily with. But they don’t really use the XBox One Console & Games that much. So I’ll likely be using the List myself, to get the Content I need to get for these Dummy Accounts.

Perhaps, what I’ll do in the long run, is if we hear from Microsoft anymore about the De-Listings and what’s going on, I’ll Edit or Remove the Backward Compatible stuff. But for now, I think I’ll leave it for a little while, cause it’s early days, and we’ll have to see what’s going on I guess.

Why Have You Listed Content For Stuff That’s Been De-Listed, Discontinued Or Not Needed Anymore?

To answer the first area of the question. Some of the Items that are De-Listed already, could possibly still be used and playable. I’m not saying everything is, but some of it. You can use the Items that are De-Listed as well, to give you a reminder if you already got them and what you can obtain from your Download History.

Some of the De-Listed Items could still be obtainable, if you find a Redeemable Code tied to the respective Game, or Download Content. Remember, as said above, Redeemable Codes for XBox 360 Games & Content might not be available for us to use after July 2024. So keep that in mind.

The 2nd area of the question is that Yes, some of the Download Content tied to Discontinued Achievements might not be needed anymore, or is completely useless to download. But on the odd occasion, even though Games do get Discontinued Achievements. Some of them do come back and go up and running. As an example, off the back of my head. I keep hearing people saying that the Servers for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Achievements & Assassin's Creed: Revelations Achievements, do come back Up and Running on odd occasions. At the time of writing, I think the Servers for Assassin's Creed: Revelations Achievements is working as we speak.

Obviously for some companies such as EA – Electronic Arts or 2K Game, then it's likely never going to happen, geting their Servers Fixed. So I could potentially remove them or so.

Like the previous question, I think I’ll keep them for a short period of time. And if reaches a stage where we don't need the Content anymore, then I can always remove it at some stage.

Why Have You Listed Odd Bits Of Content And Some That Are Even Backward Compatible?

To put it simply, I feel as though some of the Content I’ve listed is tied to towards the Full Experience of the Game itself. And I feel as though if you don’t Download it, your not gaining the full experience out of the game.

The other honest reason is most of this kind of Content I’ve listed, not including Compatibility Packs, Installers and other Downloads is Free of charge. So I just don’t want any of you missing out something that’s a Freebee.
Perhaps I’m being too generous here. But I just don’t like anyone missing out an opportunity or so.

    Overall

I have likely gone OTT with this Listing. And probably have things Listed on here, that are simply not needed. But like I said above, I think it’s because I just don’t want anyone missing out on Content that we don't know or know if it's going to be available or not after July 2024.

Only time can tell on this subject overall. For now, I’ll keep what I’ve done and it will get updated whenever people give me more Info, or if I find anything else with anymore Games I got or get. I’ve actually ordered some more Games recently for the XBox 360, so I’ll see if anything has Content needed to be Download, and I’ll update this Listing as soon as I can.

Thank you everyone for all your Comments & Support. I’ll keep you all posted toasttoast

First off, thanks for putting this together. It's been a great help. I have a question about Super Street Fighter IV. Why do you have the Shadaloo Horror Pack included? It looks like that is a paid add-on without achievements. Maybe it's just an error but wanted to check with you.
    I second these corrections.

I wish the BC games were separated on this list, as if they are on the xbox one store they aren't affected by any of this.

When I booted up Destiny, i had the compatibility packs prompted for download, but only content 1. I do have taken king, so maybe that is pack 2 and 3? If not, I have no idea how to download them, as I'm able to log in and play the game.

For GTAV, since 360 online is dead, none of the GTA Online packs are required to play. The only things required to play the full game offline are: the game, title update, Part0-part3. I deleted the online stuff and booted the game and was able to play normally. (was able to save 2gb of space!)

Appreciate all of this though...this is a pain going through and installing all of these...lol
    Yes, I know I am.

I already had it added to the other list but thought you'd want to add AFL Live 2 Compatiblity Pack to the OP.

An additional bit of detail; make sure which region store you buy your games from. Some digital games like Peace Walker HD and Wolfenstein 3D are region-locked, so you cannot use your purchases across different regions.

I learned this the hard way.

Can you elaborate a little? Were you not able to play them on an Xbox 360 from a different region, or could you not re-download them? Or would they not launch?

I have MGS PW HD bought from the UK store and already stored on an HDD, but it refuses to run on my US-based account.

I bought Trials HD, Wolfenstein 3D and COD 3 through the Argentinian store. They refuse to download past 79%.

I think some games are regionally coded even if they're digital downloads. I have bought digital EU games that run fine on my US account but I use them on a PAL Xbox 360. But of course moving them to an NTSC system they won't run. There are some games available in both regions and when you download it for one region it won't necessarily work on a system from another because they're actually different files. If you were able to download or get a copy of the US version of the game it should run. I have three copies of Sonic 4 on my drive because of this very reason. One way to do this is to download the US version of the demo if it has one, and since you technically have a game license that demo unlocks as the full game. Of course not all games have demos and not all demos download the full game. But it's worth a try.

As for games not fully downloading, I'm a little less clear on the causes behind that. It does seem to be related to regions. I've heard of people having success using a VPN to match the purchase region while it downloads.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 (JP) has a required online pass to play multiplayer. There is no online pass for the NA version of the game. Here is the link to the store.

Only if you have it on disc.

Games on Demand purchases (i.e. digital download) of Dead or Alive 5 don't apply as you've already made your purchase which sends money to the developer/publisher instead of third-party resellers (e.g. GameStop).

This is a country Licence issue, you will be not be able to download these games if tour account IS not set in Argentina.
Nevertheless, you will be able to download and play it on a Xbox One or Series if it is BC games, such as De Blob 2.

    Hello

I apologise I've not updated the Page in awhile. I made a promise in which I wanted to get this Updated, since I've not been working this week, and I somewhat done it today.

So I've done some Updates towards this Forum...

Firstly, thank you everyone for what you have posted since I last Commented. I updated the Forum with the Games you all mostly discovered. But there are a couple Games I haven't been able to add.

I actually found a handful myself. Most notably Mortal Kombat Achievements which has a Compatibility Pack, and Dead Space 3 Achievements with an Online Pass.

Secondly I've decided to remove the Games on the List that have had their Servers Shutdown and we know, there is no way the Servers are coming back. Or if the Online Pass/DLC has been removed completely. I mean I don't see the point in keeping them ones, cause it takes enough room as it is.

I was originally planning on removing all the Content and Games that are Backward Compatible on the XBox One/XBox Series X/S. But I still think it's best for me to keep them in case after July 2024, it could be De-Listed, and we may not be able to get the Content any-more. We just don't know.

Finally, I'll do what I can to see if I can add anything else to the list, before Time Runs Out. I recently got the LEGO Dimensions (Xbox 360) Achievements Collection. So I'll check at some point to see if there's any content among those Games that needs installing.

Thanks again. I'll keep you all posted if I discover anything else.
