How to unlock the Vinewood Visionary achievement

    You cannot snap and app on your console whilst exporting else it will cancel

    To create a clip press and hold cn_down and either press cn_A to start a recording or cn_X to turn on action replay mode which records in the background. You can record clips from Story and GTA Online.

    Clips must be at least 3 seconds long, once you're happy hold cn_down again and press cn_A to save the recording. The shorter the clip, the quicker the export.

    You're now ready to export, whilst in story mode press cn_start and scroll right using cn_RB to the 'Rockstar Editor' menu and press cn_A to enter. Note the Rockstar Editor is only available from story mode. From the Rockstar Editor mode 'Create new project' which will load the editor and then add your clip from the 'Add clip' option.

    Press cn_B to exit the timeline and then you're ready to export the clip, choose a name and confirm you wish to export.

    Once exported the achievement is yours.

    Export another 9 clips (can use the same one from above) to unlock

    Hello Everyone!

    As of February 20th, 2024, Rockstar made the unfortunate decision of removing Rockstar Editor, thus you cannot make anymore recordings in-game. But don't worry! They changed the requirements need to unlock the Vinewood Visionary and Majestic achievement. Simply enter director mode and select 5 and 10 characters and you'll automatically earn them.

    To access director mode, call this number: 1-999-57-825368
