It follows Flora, who moves to the town of Grat to continue her training and become a fully-fledged witch. She'll be kept busy making both food and potions, as she'll also be opening a kitchen for the townspeople and any travellers who pass through. She'll also be gathering recipes, collecting ingredients, trading, exploring, completing quests, and expanding her kitchen. The game's Metroidvania elements come into play for exploration, with Flora able to unlock new abilities and shortcuts to explore new areas. If that already sounds like a busy life, Flora will also apparently be caught in the middle of some sort of witch feud between two covens.Flock — July 16Continuing the cozy trend, we have the gorgeous multiplayer co-op game Flock, which arrives for Game Pass on the same day as Magical Delicacy. In Flock, we play as flying shepherds, who start out with a herd of hover-sheep, but can soar about the uplands to collect the beautifully-bizarre creatures which live there. We'll also be able to use the wool from our hover-sheep to customise our shepherd with different brightly-colored bits and bobs, such as cardigans and socks. Flock arrives for Xbox Game Pass on July 16.Dungeons of Hinterberg — July 18Moving on to July 18, we have action-adventure RPG Dungeons of Hinterberg which takes place in an Alpine village and combines magic, puzzles, monsters, and building relationships. Our character, Luisa, is a law trainee who aims to escape that hassle by heading to Hinterberg to take on the dungeons on a quest to become the Master Slayer.Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn — July 18One of the many Xbox Games Showcase announcements was the release date for Souls-lite fantasy action-RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, which lands in Xbox Game Pass on the same day as Dungeons of Hinterberg on July 18. We play as Nor Vanek of the Coalition army who, along with a little fox companion called Enki, set out to take on the Gods and their army of the Dead, all of whom have escaped from the Door to the Great Below and are wreaking havoc on the land.Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess — July 19Another Summer Game Fest 2024 announcement was the release date for Capcom's Japanese-inspired action-strategy game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which arrives for Xbox Game Pass on July 19. We'll play as Soh, who must protect the villages and the Maiden of Mt. Kafuku from the creatures of the Seethe, which emerge from the Torii Gates every night. If you manage to survive until morning, the Maiden Yoshiro can purify the villages, whose inhabitants will then help in your nightly battles.Frostpunk 2 — July 25Then on July 25 we have Frostpunk 2 for PC Game Pass (it'll come to Xbox Game Pass at a later, as-yet-unspecified date). The sequel to 11 bit studio's Frostpunk, which gave us a brutal mix of city-building and survival elements, is set 30 years later and tasks us with maintaining a city and its society during the horrendous frosty apocalypse. As you might expect, there'll be impossible choices when making laws, settling disputes, and making sure your city survives. That's everything confirmed for July so far, but we'll likely hear more Game Pass announcements to fill out the rest of July's line-up. Further off on the horizon, we're still waiting to hear more about some of the biggest upcoming Xbox exclusives for 2024 and beyond.
