This can be done in Arcade mode - Open survival.
Upon spawning, simply pick a direction and keep going. I chose to head upwards as the camera is more favourable, but I assume this can be done in any direction.
You will come across a wall of asteroids which you can maneuver through with a boost.
Carry on heading in your chosen direction until the achievement pops! For me it took a minute or two.
